Engineering Manager
Guardz is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead one of our product engineering teams, building and scaling our cybersecurity platform.
We’re looking for a manager who is AI-first in mindset, comes from large-scale product environments, and knows how to translate product needs into scalable, reliable, and high-performing engineering solutions. You will operate in a fast-moving environment, driving execution while adapting quickly to change.
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop a high-performing team of engineers, fostering ownership, accountability, and growth
Promote an AI-first engineering culture, leveraging modern tools to improve velocity and effectiveness
Drive delivery of customer-facing features with high standards for quality, performance, scalability, reliability, and speed
Identify performance and architectural bottlenecks and drive technical decisions that support future scale and efficient data processing
Partner closely with Product, Design, Security Research and other stakeholders to define priorities and deliver business impact
Stay close to the team’s technical work, contributing to design, architecture, and problem-solving when needed
Own team execution end-to-end, from planning and delivery to continuous improvement
Coach and mentor engineers, supporting their professional and career growth
Continuously improve development practices, including CI/CD, testing, and cloud infrastructure
Requirements:
5+ years of experience managing engineering teams
Proven experience building large-scale products serving a significant customer base
Strong experience with performance-sensitive systems with demanding reliability and SLA requirements
Strong system design and architectural experience, including performance, scale and data processing; experience with multi-tenant environments is a strong advantage
Strong product and business orientation, able to connect engineering decisions to customer and company impact
Proven adoption of AI-first development practices
Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments
Strong technical background in modern software development; the specific technology stack is flexible based on relevant experience
Hands-on capability, able to dive into technical challenges and support the team when needed
Solid experience with cloud environments and CI/CD practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
