We are looking for an Onboarding Specialist to coordinate, programme manage, and continuously improve the onboarding experience for new hires across the organisation. As a key contributor within the Culture, Onboarding & Engagement team, you will own the operational layer of onboarding and influence the experience layer, to help evolve the current Workday-based journey into a richer, persona-focused model with greater manager and team enablement. Working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Tech & Data, IT, Local Offices and Talent & Culture, you will help every new hire at Super ramp up smoothly and effectively.

What the role involves

Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding journey from pre-start through the first 90 days, partnering with HR Ops, IT and Workday to ensure a smooth transition from candidate to new employee.

Develop persona-based onboarding approaches tailored to different employee types, including individual contributors, managers, and office-based and remote populations.

Maximise automation through Workday whilst partnering with local offices and cross-functional teams to deliver a personal welcome experience, from pre-start communications through to first-day logistics and content and support through a new hire’s first 90 days.

Maintain and continuously improve onboarding checklists, timelines, templates, guides and process documentation.

Drive manager and buddy enablement through manager learning, onboarding expectations, buddy training and 90-day plan guidance.

Coordinate onboarding events, orientation sessions and learning activities, managing invitations, attendance tracking and reporting within Workday and the LMS/LXP.

Manage the global new hire SWAG process, ensuring every new hire receives a Super welcome token on day one.

How success is measured

New hires feel welcomed, informed, and ready to contribute, reflected in growing onboarding satisfaction scores.

Managers are clear on their responsibilities, reporting high satisfaction with the tools and support provided.

Onboarding processes are consistent and scalable, with a high completion rate for required tasks and learning.

Technical readiness is seamless, with equipment and system access provided on time through strong cross-functional partnerships.

Operational excellence is maintained through the reduction of recurring issues and proactive resolution of friction points.

Visibility into onboarding progress and experience is clear, supporting early productivity, role clarity and retention.

What we are looking for

Background in HR operations, learning & development, or Talent Acquisition, with a strong focus on the new hire experience.

Highly structured and detail-oriented, with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with hands-on delivery.

Proactive communicator and problem-solver, comfortable coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders; strong stakeholder management skills.

Proficient in HRIS and collaboration tools, with a passion for using technology and automation to improve content and processes.
