POSITION SUMMARY

Join EarnIn's Developer Experience team for a 12-week summer internship building agentic AI infrastructure that directly improves how engineers ship software. You'll own meaningful end-to-end work on intelligent developer tooling and design systems that turn raw CI signals into actionable insights under the guidance of senior engineers. This position is based in Bengaluru, India, with two days a week in-office required as part of our expanding site location, and is a 6-month contract engagement with a start date in January 2027.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Build agentic workflows that analyze signals from the software delivery pipeline and surface actionable guidance to engineering teams.

Develop automated tooling that detects patterns in build and test reliability and drives corrective action to improve developer productivity.

Create AI-powered features that translate technical signals into plain-language summaries and proactive recommendations for engineers.

Build a conversational agent interface that helps engineers understand and resolve build issues through natural, evidence-backed interactions.

Integrate across the developer tooling ecosystem to connect data from multiple sources into a cohesive developer experience.

Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code built to last beyond the internship.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (B.E., B.Tech, M.Tech, or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from an Indian university

Some experience with Python, Go, TypeScript, or another modern backend language; coursework or personal projects count.

Familiarity with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD systems, curiosity about how they work under the hood.

Some exposure to working with APIs and structured data formats.

Interest in AI/LLM-powered tooling; you don't need production experience, but you should be excited to learn how agents and tool-calling work.

Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent) as part of your day-to-day workflow.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate progress proactively, and ask for help when blocked is a plus.

Prior internship or project experience in developer tooling, platform engineering, or observability is a plus.

Familiarity with Datadog, getDX, or similar telemetry platforms is a plus.

Experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) in a project context is a plus.
