Batch Record Review Lead
About the role
Nothing we make ships until the paperwork proves it should. Today our Production Supervisors review every batch record on top of running the floor, which pulls them away from production and slows release. As our Batch Record Review Lead, you’ll own that process end to end at our Roanoke, TX facility. You’ll make sure every executed record is complete, accurate, and GMP-compliant, and that finished product never waits on a review.
This role is fully on-site at our Roanoke, TX facility. We’re hiring across three shifts (Monday–Friday):
1st shift: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm | $22/hr
2nd shift: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm | $23/hr
3rd shift: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am | $24/hr
In this role, you will:
Own day-to-day review of every executed batch record, so Production Supervisors can stay on the floor
Check each record for completeness, accuracy, and GMP compliance before it goes to QA for review and release
Complete reviews within one day of submission, consistently
Verify master record version, lot numbers and quantities, equipment and cleaning entries, in-process checks, signatures, and dates
Reconcile yield, labels, and components with precision
Catch errors, omissions, and potential deviations early, and escalate to QA when a discrepancy is more than a simple correction
Run a closed-loop process for returning records, tracking corrections to completion, and escalating deviations
Track and report error trends, then work with Production and QA on the training and form changes that stop repeat errors
Work on the production floor in required PPE, building trust with operators and Supervisors
We’re looking for someone who:
Has 3+ years reviewing batch records or other controlled GMP documents in a regulated manufacturing setting, ideally supplements or food
Has working knowledge of GMP, data integrity principles, and excellent documentation practices
Is bilingual in English and Spanish
Is comfortable in ERP and WMS systems (Fulfil.io is a plus)
Is accurate with yield, label, and component reconciliation math
Is comfortable working on the production floor in required PPE
Approach to the role:
Treats record accuracy as non-negotiable
Works systematically, in the same rigorous order every time
Gives clear, respectful feedback to operators and Supervisors, even when it’s not what they want to hear
Knows the difference between a simple correction and something that needs QA, and acts accordingly
Looks for patterns and recommends fixes, not just corrections
Builds enough trust with the production team that issues get raised early
Moves with urgency and precision, because slow reviews hold product
