A day in the life:
You'll own a portfolio of 4–6 B2B accounts. You will serve as the primary strategic partner for your clients on a day-to-day basis, owning the narrative around performance, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all marketing efforts ladder up to business objectives. A successful candidate is a strong cross-channel marketer and communicator who can confidently translate data into insights, guide internal teams, and build trust with clients. This is a critical role in ensuring accounts are not only running efficiently, but driving meaningful business impact.
As an Associate Account Director (AAD), you will act as the day-to-day strategic lead for B2B clients, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned to pipeline growth, lead quality, and revenue outcomes—not just campaign performance. You will work closely with client marketing and sales teams, helping bridge the gap between MQL generation and pipeline conversion. This role requires comfort discussing ICP definition, lead scoring, funnel conversion, and sales feedback loops. You’ll partner with Project Managers to ensure execution stays on track, while collaborating with the Account Director to refine quarterly strategy and long-term growth plans.
Responsibilities:
Employ AI technologies to enhance and optimize business processes
Utilize and leverage Power Digital's Nova ecosystem as it relates to your department
Lead weekly client calls on larger accounts; support PM-led calls on smaller accounts — own the performance narrative either way
Translate Power Circuit roadmap outputs into weekly account priorities; flag when execution is drifting from the strategy
Stay close to pipeline metrics — lead quality, MQL→SQL conversion, funnel contribution — and surface concerns to the AD before they reach the client as surprises
Coordinate paid, SEO, content, and ABM teams around a unified account strategy
Work directly with client marketing contacts to align on ICP, campaign priorities, and reporting cadence
Support the AD on quarterly strategy, renewal prep, and service expansion conversations
Build and maintain strong client relationships; contribute to ≥90% retention across your accounts
Work in Iris and nova daily; use performance data to surface issues before clients raise them; maintain Pulse cadence at 100%
Role Requirements:
4–7 years in B2B marketing or client services, with experience managing client relationships day-to-day
Understands pipeline metrics well enough to own the conversation — MQL, SQL, CPL, win rates, CAC
Familiar with CRM and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.) and how they connect to reporting
Comfortable presenting to and communicating with VP and director-level client stakeholders
Cross-channel fluency across paid, SEO, content, and ABM — you don't need to be an expert in all of them, but you need to know when something's off
Has worked in B2B marketing environments and understands the sales cycle dynamics that make it different
Strong written and verbal communication; can translate data into a clear narrative
