AI Solutions Intern (3–6 Month Internship)

Nexaminds is looking for an AI Solutions Intern to join our AI Solutions Group for a 3–6 month internship. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience designing and developing AI-powered applications while working alongside experienced AI architects, platform engineers, and solution consultants. You'll contribute to real customer projects, explore the latest AI technologies, and help shape innovative solutions using Generative AI, Agentic AI, automation, and cloud platforms.

Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León (Hybrid/Remote)

Qualifications we are looking for:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

Academic coursework or practical experience in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Automation, or AI-driven application development.

Hands-on experience with one or more Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, Ollama, or similar platforms.

Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Java, or other modern programming languages.

Familiarity with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Experience using Git, GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systems.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.

Passion for innovation, AI technologies, and continuous learning.

Nice To Have:

Public GitHub portfolio showcasing academic or personal AI projects.

Experience with AI orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

Familiarity with vector databases or AI agent frameworks.

Experience building REST APIs or backend services.

Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud-native development.

Knowledge of modern software development methodologies and Agile practices.

Job Duties:

Build AI-powered applications, intelligent agents, and automation workflows.

Experiment with cutting-edge LLMs, AI frameworks, and cloud-native technologies.

Collaborate with AI architects, engineers, and solution consultants on customer-focused AI initiatives.

Develop reusable software components and contribute to the Nexaminds AI platform and internal accelerators.

Support the design, development, testing, and deployment of AI-driven applications.

Research and evaluate emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality engineering standards.

Document technical solutions, experiments, and implementation approaches.

Continuously learn and apply the latest advancements in Generative AI and Agentic AI.
