ZA Affiliate Associate
About the role
The Affiliate Associate, with a focus on social media, is responsible for reviewing and monitoring SportyBet’s network of influencers, creators, and affiliates - while also growing and maintaining SportyBet’s social community across multiple platforms. Hybrid position located in our Century City, Cape Town offices.
What you'll be doing
Build, manage, and maintain strong interactions with influencers, creators, tipsters, and affiliate partners through a social online community
Identify and reach out to new affiliates and creators through social media platforms and digital communities
Develop, maintain, and strengthen SportyBet’s online affiliate and social community presence by fostering authentic, consistent engagement and representing the brand positively across all relevant channels and platforms
Manage influencer/creator pages, monitor their online activity and performance, and provide ongoing feedback and support to maximise results
Track and analyze social media trends, community sentiment, and affiliate performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Support and strengthen SportyBet’s relationships within the wider online sports community, ensuring consistent tone, professionalism, and authenticity in every interaction
What you'll bring
Strong understanding of major social media platforms (X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, etc.) and international online community culture
Solid grasp of social media trends, sports culture, and sports betting fundamentals (markets, odds, fan engagement)
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Passion for sports, digital engagement, and community development
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Strong copywriting and content creation abilities
Creative thinker with a data-driven mindset and attention to detail
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and channels simultaneously
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working across teams
Even better if
Experience in the sports betting, sports media, or gaming industry.
Experience working with influencers, creators, or affiliate programs.
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok Analytics, YouTube Studio).
Basic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative tools, etc.).
