West Coast Sales Engineer
What You’ll Do
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical partner to our commercial sales team, helping customers understand how Harbinger’s platform solves real-world fleet challenges. You’ll work directly with customers while partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Service, and Sales to develop technical solutions that accelerate vehicle adoption.
Partner with Sales throughout the customer journey, from initial discovery through vehicle delivery.
Lead technical discussions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations.
Understand customer operations and recommend vehicle configurations that meet their business needs.
Serve as the technical expert on Harbinger’s vehicle platform, charging solutions, and commercial applications.
Develop technical proposals, respond to customer requirements, and support RFPs.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve technical challenges and communicate customer feedback that shapes future products.
Support pilot programs, customer launches, dealer training, and industry events.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, Field Engineering, or another customer-facing technical role.
Strong understanding of automotive, commercial vehicles, electrification, industrial equipment, or related technologies.
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for a wide range of audiences.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, highly collaborative startup environment.
Bonus Points
Experience supporting commercial fleets or medium-duty vehicles.
Knowledge of EV powertrains, charging infrastructure, or fleet operations.
Experience working with dealers, upfitters, or technical channel partners.

$120,000—$140,000 USD
