VP, Media Transformation, North America
About the Role
As the executive lead for our Media Transformation practice, you are responsible for defining our operational strategy, scaling our advisory capabilities, and building modern solutions that help enterprise clients navigate what’s next in media. You will lead the practice’s day-to-day business and a multidisciplinary team of 35+, holding practice P&L accountability and setting the operating standards for how work gets delivered.
The Media Transformation team operates as a specialized consultancy and embedded capability partner. You will serve as the primary executive advisor to senior client stakeholders, designing flexible engagement models: spanning staff augmentation, team training, AI readiness, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), measurement maturity, ad tech architecture, and taxonomy; solving acute operational challenges for modern in-house marketing organizations.
By bridging the gap between strategy, ad tech, creative optimization, and AI tools, you will shape how our transformation services come together across the organization, representing Media Transformation in cross-company initiatives, high-stakes client escalations, and new business pitches to position Monks as the premier transformation partner for in-house media and marketing teams.
Experience Sought:
Acute Problem Solving & In-House Consulting: You excel at diagnosing friction points within enterprise marketing organizations and designing targeted interventions: AI readiness assessments, measurement maturity frameworks, ad personalization/DCO strategies, and standardized ad tech taxonomies.
Ad Tech, Dynamic Creative & Data Architecture: You possess a deep understanding of modern ad tech stacks, taxonomy standards, dynamic creative optimization (DCO), and data-driven activation. You excel at bridging the gap between tech, creative, and media to build customized frameworks in-house teams can run on.
Client Engagement: You have experience building and delivering flexible client engagements—from embedded staff augmentation and team training to discrete advisory sprints—that integrate seamlessly with a client’s internal operations.
AI & Workflow Innovation: You bring genuine curiosity and practical experience regarding AI tools, automation, and emerging ad tech features. You have a track record of turning experimentation into adopted capabilities, building scalable workflows and internal tools that redefine delivery standards.
Commercial Growth & Pitch Excellence: You possess a potent sales mindset with a track record of winning consultative business, expanding current accounts, and articulating the value of specialized transformation offerings alongside growth leadership during high-stakes pitch opportunities.
Talent Elevation & Team Health: You can actively coach and develop directors, managers, and multidisciplinary teams. You focus on building a strong leadership bench, fostering a culture of accountability and support, and creating operational systems that continue working when you're not in the room.
Commercial Savviness: You bring a strong business operational sense, with the ability to manage practice resources, balance team efficiency with client impact, and ensure overall health across accounts.
