Your Impact

Pearce is seeking an Entry Level Traveling HVAC Technician - Preventative Maintenance to join our team for performing preventative maintenance (PM's) servicing on commercial HVAC package units on cell tower sites. This is a fast-paced and rewarding job that is best suited for individuals who are responsible, self-directed, highly motivated, willing to travel, and looking to learn and grow in the Telecom industry. This is a regional position. Candidates should reside in the Abilene, Texas area.

Core Responsibilities

Perform all work in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA, company and industry standards.

Work independently with minimal supervision in an efficient process.

Conduct performance checks and regular preventative maintenance on HVAC and Generator equipment to include filter replacements, coil washing battery replacements, oil changes, and refuels.

Timely and accurate completion of daily work reports.

Minimum of 20 preventative maintenances (PM's) to be completed weekly.

Maintain a company vehicle according to company policies, which will include maintaining vehicle records, ensuring regular maintenance is performed at appropriate times, and the vehicle is always kept clean and in safe working condition.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

No previous experience required.

Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and by email.

Must have a valid driver’s license for at least a year with an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA Standard

Candidates should reside in the Abilene, Texas area.

Limited travel within the state, only travel out of state if PMs are all completed.

Drive to remote work sites.

Must have the ability to inspect equipment, both visually and audibly.

May need to pass DOT physical.

Compensation: $23.00 - $25.00 hourly/DOE
