Job Overview

Harbinger Motors is seeking a talented Technical Recruiter to help scale our engineering and manufacturing teams. As a recruiter you will own the full-cycle recruiting process, leveraging creative sourcing strategies to attract and close the elite technical talent critical to our mission. This person would be onsite in our Garden Grove, CA office 4 days a week.

What You'll Do

Strategic Sourcing: Actively hunt for premier technical professionals using a mix of headhunting, industry networking, employee referrals, and innovative outreach campaigns.

Stakeholder Alignment: Collaborate with engineering leaders and hiring managers to establish clear job requirements, create interview scorecards, and map out customized search plans for every new requisition.

Assessment & Vetting: Perform in-depth preliminary interviews to gauge a candidate's technical baseline, career motivations, and cultural alignment before moving them forward in the process.

Process Optimization: Architect and oversee structured interview panels, navigate complex scheduling dynamics, and drive a fast, efficient evaluation pipeline across multiple teams.

Candidate Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact and guide for applicants. You will ensure they receive prompt feedback, transparent communication, and an exceptional experience that highlights Harbinger’s core values.

Metrics & ATS Management: Champion data integrity within Greenhouse. Monitor vital recruitment metrics (like time-to-hire, conversion rates, and channel ROI) to identify bottlenecks and optimize our hiring workflows.

What You'll Bring

Core Requirements:

Experience: 3+ years driving full-life-cycle recruitment, with a heavy emphasis on technical and engineering roles.

Proactive Sourcing: Demonstrated success in identifying passive talent, nurturing long-term relationships, and accelerating the hiring cycle.

Tech Stack: Proficiency navigating modern applicant tracking systems (Greenhouse preferred) and utilizing advanced digital sourcing platforms.

Time Management: Highly organized with the capacity to juggle multiple high-priority requisitions simultaneously without sacrificing candidate quality or process speed.

Closing Expertise: Advanced negotiation skills with a history of successfully landing highly sought-after technical talent in competitive markets.

Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Bonus Points:

Hardware/Manufacturing Expertise: Proven experience recruiting specifically for mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or manufacturing roles.

Startup Agility: Prior experience scaling technical teams within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the electric vehicle (EV) or commercial automotive sectors.
