Team Lead, Software Engineering

The Challenge

We're looking for a Team Lead to take a first step into engineering leadership at OneTrust. Team Leads provide day-to-day technical guidance and coaching to a small group of engineers, while remaining hands-on contributors themselves.

Your Mission

Team & People Leadership

Provide day-to-day coaching and technical guidance to a small group of engineers.

Support the team's manager with performance check-ins and development conversations.

Delivery Execution

Help the team break down, plan, and deliver on sprint commitments.

Technical Contribution

Stay hands-on, contributing code and design work on critical initiatives alongside your team.

Collaboration

Partner with Product and UX to clarify requirements and surface technical considerations early.

You Are

A strong senior engineer taking your first steps into leading others. You work within goals and process set by your manager, and you balance hands-on contribution with emerging coaching skills.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

4+ years of professional software engineering experience

Experience informally guiding or mentoring other engineers

Strong technical foundation in frontend and/or backend development relevant to OneTrust's platform

Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Devin, Windsurf, or similar) in your own work, and experience helping the engineers you support start using them effectively.
