What Impact You’ll Have:

GRVTY is seeking Systems Administrators to support Department of Defense/IC missions at Fort Meade, MD. You will be responsible for Linux Systems Administration while supporting IC missions that are vital to our national security.

What You'll be Owning

Creates, and maintains RedHat Linux virtual machines running in a cloud infrastructure (Amazon AWS).

Evaluates systems for IAVA compliance and applies necessary security updates/patches.

Performs command line system administration tasks on virtual machines.

Handles regular system backups and periodically tests backups for functionality.

Communicates with developers and dev ops team members to provide system administration support.

Apply patches and upgrades.

Troubleshoot server issues.

Administer customer accounts

Deploy monitoring tools.

Deploy applications and tools.

Assist with escalated customer tickets.

Installation and cabling of equipment

What You Must Have:

Active TS/SCI with polygraph (polygraph must be within last 6 years)

10 years of systems administration experience OR technical bachelor's degree + 5 years of systems administration experience

Linux command line system administration (CentOS, RedHat, Amazon Linux, or equivalent)

Experience applying system updates via yum or equivalent patching repository

Experience working within a cloud environment a plus (Amazon AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud infrastructure with virtual machines)

Experience or knowledge of RedSeal Network Mapping tool a plus

Knowledge of software deployed on systems a plus but not required (Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, NiFi)

What Would be Nice to Have

Syslog/NxLog

Nagios or other similar monitoring applications

Scripting experience (Python/Perl)

The pay range for this position is: $157,000.00 - $167,000.00
