What you'll do

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Strategic Finance Expert to join our dynamic finance team. You will play a key role in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy, as well as executing on a number of high-impact cross-functional initiatives at the company.

You will help us better understand our business model to drive continuous improvement of KPIs, collaborate with business partners to evaluate the ROI of products, features, and initiatives and leverage AI to develop dashboards and analytical tools that will guide the executive team.

Responsibilities:

Strategic finance

Maintain Clara's consolidated corporate finance model, including updates to monthly forecasts, financial KPIs, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.

Drive financial and operational efficiencies by improving processes and ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Oversee and monitor SG&A, ensuring budget alignment and driving cost efficiencies and process optimization.

New business initiatives

Build business cases including TAM analysis and financial projections to support new product launches and feature releases, prioritizing projects based on highest ROI.

Develop reporting and dashboards to advise and inform the finance team and executive leadership on new product performance.

Conduct ad hoc financial analysis including unit economics, working capital management, cash flow forecasting, and customer acquisition efficiency models.

Business partner strategic analysis

Work closely with global and local leadership teams, providing financial insights to influence strategic business decisions that improve financial performance, including internal business review and planning materials.

Act as a business partner by supporting sales, growth, product, and other teams with data-driven recommendations.

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Investor relations

Support preparation of board packs, investor updates, and associated financial reporting.

Build and update data room materials for equity and debt fundraising purposes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field.

3 - 4 years of experience in investment banking, venture capital, management consulting (MBB preferred), and / or data science. Experience in startups or fintech is a plus.

You are already an active user of the latest and greatest AI tools, building custom workflows, dashboards, and applications for complex financial analysis.

You can also build scalable, efficient, and intuitive financial models in Excel with ease.

Highly results-driven with strong organizational skills, a collaborative mindset, and exceptional attention to detail.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple time-sensitive priorities simultaneously.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience preparing materials and analysis for executive-level audiences.

Bilingual proficiency in English as well as Spanish or Portuguese is required.
