Staff Product Manager (Ecosystem)

LOCATION

Paris or remote (from -5h GMT up to +2h GMT to ensure sufficient overlap with the rest of the team).

ROLE

Morpho's Midnight launch brought fixed-rate, fixed-term lending onchain, and with it a set of credit markets that were never viable before. This role decides which of those markets Morpho pursues, what each one demands, and how to get there. It exists because the opportunity is far larger than the team can chase at once, so the sequencing has to be right.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Own Morpho's strategy for expanding into new credit markets, building the framework that sizes and sequences each opportunity so the team goes after the ones that will gain real traction.

- Size net new markets including custodied Bitcoin, tokenized equities, undercollateralized credit and credit card receivables, using market data and competitive dynamics to decide where Morpho moves first.

- Build and run the process that surfaces what institutions actually need across a range of use cases and industries, so Morpho knows which problems to solve to unlock each loan type.

- Work with protocol, engineering, solutions, partnerships, marketing and legal to decide where Morpho builds and where it partners, then ship multiple zero-to-one loan categories.

- Design and run proof of concepts with new counterparty types, then use the results to scale a proven model across the rest of that market.

- Map the regulatory, compliance and registration requirements attached to each new market and factor them into which opportunities Morpho takes on, and in what order.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

First 30 days

Ramped on the lending stack and what Midnight makes possible. Has met markets, solutions, partnerships and protocol, and mapped the credit opportunities already in play.

First 3 months

You drove delivery of a proof of concept for a new loan market, and helped the team size the broader landscape of where to move next.

First 6 months

You've shipped experiments across several categories and developed internal consensus on our strategy to expand morpho into new markets.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

- Proven track record taking products from zero to one in greenfield markets.

- Experience in crypto, traditional finance, or fintech, with a working grasp of how credit markets function.

- Experience shipping products with regulatory or compliance requirements.

- Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.

- Ability to create clarity and drive decisions in highly ambiguous environments

- Fast synthesis, with the ability to ramp on unfamiliar industries and markets quickly.

- Team-first mindset, low ego.
