Foxhole Technology is seeking an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our growing team . This position will be part of a high-performing team supporting the design, maintenance, and security of enterprise network systems.

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure using Juniper and Cisco hardware.

Design and maintain complex network routing and switching environments, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and Layer 2/3 configurations.

Implement and support VMware-based virtual networking environments and integrated services.

Deploy, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls in compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements.

Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network systems across multiple enclaves.

Apply best practices from the ITIL framework to manage IT services and assets (ITSM/ITAM).

Analyze hardware, software, and networking needs to support system development and integration efforts.

Perform site surveys and collaborate with stakeholders to document requirements, data sources, and system specifications.

Conduct validation testing and develop documentation to support operations and compliance. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment with DoD, RMF, and STIG standards.

Support Tier II/III troubleshooting efforts, network diagnostics, and incident response tasks.

Maintain detailed configuration documentation and network diagrams.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance with Eligibility for TS

Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Network Administrator

Hands-on experience with: Juniper and Cisco networking equipment, Routing protocols: BGP and OSPF, Switching, VLAN design, and configuration, VMware networking components, firewall administration and rule management

Solid understanding of network segmentation, security zones, and access control

Familiarity with DoD network compliance standards, including RMF, STIGs, and NIST 800-53

Must have a current DoD 8140 (8570) IAT Level II approved certification (i.e. CompTIA Security+ CE)

Strong leadership and team collaboration skills

Excellent communication and coordination abilities with Government and cross-functional teams
