The Opportunity

The Senior HR Operations Specialist is responsible for providing operational support to the HR Manager and developing and facilitating initiatives to help create a collaborative and inclusive office environment and company culture. This role involves supporting various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel based on KnowBe4’s established goals and objectives, handling day-to-day HR operations, managing absence cases, and ensuring a seamless employee experience across local teams.

Location & Schedule

Office Location: Av. Pres. Juscelino Kubitschek, 2041 (JK Complex), Vila Olímpia, São Paulo. Easily accessible via the Emerald Line (CPTM - Vila Olímpia Station)

Work Schedule: On-site 4 days per week (1 day remote). As a core member of our People/HR team, your physical presence in the hub is key to driving our local onboarding, culture, and employee experience.

What You’ll Do

HR Operations & Lifecycle Support: Provide operative and administrative support to the HR Manager (International) throughout the employee lifecycle in a confidential and sensitive manner from  hiring processes  to offboardings,Absence & Case Management: Work independently on long-term absence cases and align directly with internal stakeholders and external companies

Employee Guidance: Act as a contact for managers and employees to provide counsel, and support on HR policies and employee-related questions.

Policy, Compliance & Payroll: Assist in drafting, updating  and implementing robust HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks in line with KnowBe4’s culture and core values. Assist in managing compliance requirements regarding contracts, bonuses, pensions, benefits administration, and prepare payroll inputs for the payroll team.

Culture & Employee Experience: Drive company culture by coming up with creative ideas, coordinating cross-functional either remote or in-person events, staff birthdays, end-of-month lunches/dinners, shipping employee goodies, and implementing local diversity initiatives in partnership with our global Culture team.

Workplace & Regional Support: Handle logistical office needs (including ordering supplies, vendor management ) and manage the allocated office budget. Provide operational HR support for other regions as needed.

What You Bring

Experience: Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred, with a background in HR Operations and strong administration skills.

Communication & English Fluency: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, paired with strong interpersonal, customer-facing skills, and a customer-focused attitude.

Discretion & Judgment: High level of confidentiality and strong problem-solving skills when addressing sensitive workplace issues and supporting employee relations.

Technical Proficiency: Adaptable to new tools and systems; comfortable working on Macbooks and proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides).

Proactivity & Organization: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with a resourceful, proactive attitude, fine attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
