Senior Web & GTM Engineer
The Opportunity at Komodo Health
Komodo Health turns complex healthcare data into insights for the Life Sciences industry. The Revenue Marketing team generates and progresses pipeline for each business segment, with specialists in campaigns, events, lifecycle automation, paid media, website, and analytics. This role joins the website and development group and adds the engineering depth the team needs to build faster.
This role exists to run komodohealth.com as a high-performing pipeline channel and to write the code behind our agentic marketing workflows. You will drive website strategy and execute it. You will split your time about evenly between WordPress development and engineering agents for the marketing team to drive results and efficiencies.
Looking back on your first 12 months at Komodo Health, you will have…
Brought komodohealth.com to passing Core Web Vitals on the highest-traffic templates, with a staging, QA, and rollback process the whole team follows.
Launched a library of reusable WordPress blocks and page templates so marketers can build standard campaign and landing pages without developer help.
Moved the website content agent workflows (messaging alignment and search opportunity) into production, with the agents reading from and drafting for WordPress through its API and a person approving every publish.
Built and shipped agents for at least two more workflows impacting pipeline.
Set engineering standards for all code-based marketing workflows: version control, secrets handling, testing, and documentation.
You will accomplish these outcomes through the following responsibilities…
Build and maintain komodohealth.com in WordPress, including custom themes, blocks, templates, and plugins, plus campaign, event, and landing pages.
Design, code, and deploy agentic workflows in Python or JavaScript using LLM APIs, covering orchestration, tool use, prompts, structured outputs, error handling, and evaluation.
Connect the site and agents to the revenue stack through APIs and webhooks, including HubSpot, Salesforce, 6sense, Qualified, Google Search Console, Semrush, Slack, and Google Workspace.
Own site performance, security, accessibility, and technical SEO: Core Web Vitals, caching, core and plugin updates, backups, schema markup, and WCAG.
Implement and QA tracking and consent, including Google Tag Manager, GA4, form and UTM capture, and OneTrust, so web activity reaches HubSpot and Salesforce accurately.
Monitor agents in production with logging, alerts, cost and quality checks, and human review steps, and fix issues quickly.
Turn requests from the Website Manager, Lifecycle, Paid Media, Campaigns, and Analytics into scoped technical work, and keep a prioritized backlog with clear documentation.
What you bring to Komodo Health (required):
Experience: 4+ years in web development, marketing engineering, or GTM engineering, including a B2B marketing site built and run on WordPress. UX and Content strategies to optimize results on the website.
WordPress depth: custom themes and blocks, PHP, JavaScript, ACF, the REST API, child themes, and performance tuning.
Programming: Python or JavaScript/Node, Git, REST APIs, and webhooks, written as clean code that others can maintain.
Agent engineering: hands-on work with LLM APIs such as Claude or OpenAI and agent patterns like tool use, MCP, CLI, structured outputs, and evals, with the judgment to know where an LLM does not belong.
GTM systems: working knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce data models and how web forms, tracking, and agents write to them.
Communication: explains technical tradeoffs to marketers, scopes work clearly, and documents what they build.
Using GenAI in this role: use AI coding assistants to build and test faster, and build agents that draft content, route signals, and report on pipeline.
Additional skills and experience we’d prioritize (nice to have)…
Life Sciences or healthcare B2B marketing experience.
Headless WordPress, SQL or BigQuery, and experience with 6sense or Qualified.
