What You'll be Owning

Collaborating with other scientists, engineers, technicians, and program managers to develop the next generation of High-Power Microwave (HPM) devices and systems.

Designing, simulating, and testing:

Vacuum electronics based HPM sources.

HPM antennas

Waveguide components such as directional couplers, mode converters, and filters.

Performing laboratory measurements and calibrations of microwave components and equipment.

Presenting work at design reviews and conferences.

Writing reports to describe simulation results.

Comparing simulation results to experimental results.

Writing technical proposals.

What You Must Have

Active Security Clearance is required or ability to obtain a security clearance.

B.S. in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience working in a microwave engineering-related discipline.

Experience performing microwave device simulations in CST, ICEPIC, HFSS or similar software.

Experience working in a research, development, or prototyping environment.

Experience in writing proposals for competitive solicitations.

What Would be Nice to Have

20+ years of experience of working on HPM projects for either the government or industry.

Familiarity with performing measurements of microwave components and antennas using equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Noise Figure Analyzers, Power Meters, and Near Field Arrays.

M.S. or Ph.D in physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or related field.
