Senior Recruiter (Contract)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join Airbyte on a 6-month contract and help us hire exceptional talent across the company.
In this role, you’ll own full-cycle recruiting across a mix of GTM and technical roles, flexing your focus based on the needs of the business. You’ll partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to define profiles, build targeted sourcing strategies, assess talent, and move searches forward with urgency.
We’re looking for someone who is highly proactive, has strong sourcing instincts, and understands the competitive talent landscape in San Francisco. You should be comfortable operating independently, bringing a point of view to searches, and coaching hiring managers when the market or candidate feedback suggests we need to recalibrate.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys sourcing, has a strong eye for talent across different functions, communicates clearly, and can keep multiple searches organized and moving in a fast-paced environment.
This role is estimated to work 40 hours per week.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Own full-cycle recruiting from intake through offer
- Proactively source and engage high-quality candidates using LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and other creative strategies
- Conduct screening conversations to assess experience, skills, and alignment
- Drive interview coordination and ensure a seamless, timely experience for candidates and interviewers
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting within Ashby
- Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers by sharing market insights, candidate feedback, and recommendations throughout the search
- Support offer development and negotiation to help close top talent
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting processes, messaging, and tools
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience hiring for both technical and non-technical roles
- Proven ability to source and engage candidates across diverse role types and seniority levels
- Experience with applicant tracking systems such as Ashby and managing candidate flow
- Experience recruiting in the San Francisco Bay Area and familiarity with the local talent market
- Ability to use pipeline data and candidate feedback to identify issues and recommend changes to a search
- Ability to operate independently as a contractor, managing priorities and deadlines
LOCATION:
- Remote, with a preference for candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area who can occasionally work from our SF office
