Summary

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a critical internal platform that powers how Spark manages carrier contracting, commissions, and agency operations. This isn't a simple internal tool, it's a purpose-built product that encodes the operational intelligence behind Spark's ability to scale.

You'll work closely with engineering, design, and the operations team who are the platform's primary users, translating complex regulatory and operational workflows into a system that's intuitive, reliable, and built to grow with the business. This role sits across execution and discovery: you'll need to be energized by shipping intentional, user-centric workflows while staying curious about the underlying systems and data that make those workflows possible.

We're looking for someone comfortable operating independently and partnering with senior stakeholders, including C-level leadership at a fast-moving Series B startup. Ideally you're a strong generalist with prior experience building internal tools or systems of record, and you bring deep workflow intuition and regulatory awareness to the role.

What You'll Do

Own key product areas related to scaling operations

Collaborate with engineering and design to define product specs, ship high-quality features, and drive adoption

Maintain a tight feedback loop with the ops team, treating them as a first-class product constituency with their own personas, workflows, and success metrics

Conduct user interviews, analyze product usage, and run experiments to identify high-impact opportunities

Act as a subject matter expert in your domain and ensure alignment with broader product strategy

Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous problems and workstreams

What We're Looking For

You have a track record for managing a successful product domain, ideally in B2B SaaS or platform products

You write clear product specs and have strong instincts for when to be scrappy vs when to be rigorous

You're comfortable navigating cross-functional work and can clearly communicate decisions and tradeoffs

You use data to inform decisions, whether through dashboards, SQL, or close partnership with data teams

You've seen products through multiple launch cycles and know how to set goals, measure impact, and iterate

You thrive in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and take ownership without waiting to be asked

You're deeply empathetic toward all the different internal and external stakeholders you work with
