ABOUT THE TEAM
The Marketing Operations team owns the critical infrastructure that powers Appian's marketing engine: tools and technology, lead routing and scoring, analytics and attribution, and budget stewardship. This team operates with autonomy and cross-functional influence, partnering with demand generation, field marketing, product marketing, and executive leadership to ensure every marketing investment is measurable, optimized, and aligned to revenue outcomes. Your work will directly shape how Appian scales its presence in the enterprise automation market.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Architect and maintain single source of truth dashboards in our BI tool that enable marketing leadership to monitor performance, forecast pipeline, and allocate budget with confidence
Translate complex multi-touch attribution datasets into compelling executive-ready narratives that inform strategic decision-making and quarterly business reviews
Execute advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and synthesize data from Salesforce CRM, Marketo, and other marketing technology platforms into actionable insights
Lead the triage and delivery of ad hoc analytics requests, balancing urgency with rigor to ensure stakeholders receive timely, accurate, and contextually relevant analysis
Drive organizational enablement by training marketing team members on dashboard usage, data interpretation, and self-service analytics capabilities
Collaborate with IT, RevOps, and finance teams to ensure data integrity, governance, and alignment across enterprise reporting systems
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
5+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis within B2B technology or SaaS environments
Advanced expertise in business intelligence and dashboarding tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker with a proven track record of building executive-facing reports
Strong proficiency with SQL and data extraction methodologies to query relational databases and manipulate large datasets
Deep familiarity with B2B marketing platforms and CRM environments, including hands-on experience with Marketo and Salesforce
Proven ability to translate complex datasets into compelling, executive-ready presentations and strategic recommendations that drive business outcomes
Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and collaborative attitude with demonstrated experience navigating multinational B2B technology organizations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with long, complex B2B sales cycles and the multi-touch attribution models that accompany enterprise buying journeys
Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 or Adobe Analytics
Hands-on experience with third-party marketing analytics and attribution tools such as HockeyStack, Marketo Measure, DreamData, or similar platforms
We value experience with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or ServiceNow, as these skills translate well into our Enterprise-Grade Orchestration environment.

The base salary range represents a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant work experience, qualifications, internal peer equity, and market and business conditions that exist when extending an offer. A discretionary bonus may be awarded in recognition of individual and company performance.

Base Salary Range
$75,000—$175,000 USD
