How This Role Makes a Difference

Care Access is hiring a Sr. Manager, Integrated Media Strategy Lead to orchestrate the multi-channel strategy, optimize media ROI, translate complex data/insights into actionable opportunities that drive conversion for our programs.

This leader will own the media strategy discipline, from audience definition and market intelligence through investment planning, performance management, and continuous experimentation. The role drives integrated planning, stakeholder alignment, and campaign execution to increase patient engagement and recruitment.

This candidate is a data-driven leader who creates insight-led strategies, identifies growth opportunities, and optimizes cross-channel plans for maximum impact. Media plans will be aligned to business priorities, study recruitment needs, geographic opportunity, and operational capacity.

How You'll Make An Impact

Audience Strategy, Segmentation & Market Intelligence

Lead development and ongoing refinement of actionable audience segments using first-party, platform, behavioral, geographic, and market data.

Translate patient and market insights into targeting, messaging, channel, and investment recommendations.

Partner with Analytics, CRM/Marketing Automation, Clinical Operations, Recruitment Operations to establish audience definitions, data requirements, and activation-ready segment strategies.

Integrated Campaign Strategy

Develop and implement full-funnel media strategies designed to drive patient recruitment, defining channel roles, audience sequencing, investment mix, flighting, KPIs, and optimization triggers.

Balance national and local-market investment based on recruitment priorities, projected yield, market opportunity, site capacity, and business needs.

Analyze audience and campaign data to inform strategy and optimization.

Create standardized strategic-planning templates and briefing processes that improve consistency from campaign brief through activation.

Channel Activation & Expansion

Set the strategy for existing and emerging paid media channels, including paid social, programmatic, video, OOH, paid search, and other relevant patient recruitment tactics.

Own the channel roadmap, identifying when to scale established channels, introduce emerging channels, or retire lower-value tactics.

Maintain hands-on platform fluency while setting strategic direction, quality standards, and operating rhythms for internal specialists and external partners.

Campaign Stewardship

Conduct performance deep dives to identify what worked, what did not, growth opportunities, and refinements to targeting and execution.

Identify gaps in how campaigns translate from brief to market and recommend practical solutions.

Manage and allocate a multi-million dollar digital media budget, including forecasting, pacing, scenario planning, and reallocation recommendations.

Establish campaign tracking, governance, and version control systems that support reliable oversight and execution.

Lead agency and vendor strategy, including scope definition, performance expectations, evaluation, and accountability.

Measurement, Performance & Test-and-Learn

Define measurement plans that connect media KPIs to recruitment outcomes and business impact, not only platform-level efficiency.

Establish performance management cadences, including in-flight optimization, weekly reporting, monthly business reviews, and campaign learning agendas.

Create a prioritized test-and-learn roadmap covering creative, audience, channel, bidding, landing page, market, and investment hypotheses.

Architect testing structures - including A/B testing, geo-holdouts, lift studies, and incrementality experiments - to inform investment and optimization decisions.

Partner with Analytics to advance attribution and incrementality capabilities, including appropriate use of multi-touch attribution, marketing mix modeling, and other measurement methods as data maturity allows.

Partner with Development and Analytics to further build marketing automation capabilities.

The Expertise Required

Must have experience in healthcare media strategy

Expertise in full funnel campaign strategy, including paid social, programmatic, paid search and other marketing channels

Data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs and translating performance insights into optimization recommendations.

Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.

Passion for data analysis and uncovering growth opportunities.

Experience in building multi-million dollar ad strategies

Proactive problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.

Clear communicator with the ability to distill strategic priorities into executable GTM plans

Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.

Hands-on platform experience is required for teaching/training teams

Experience in audience building platforms (experience with MRI is a plus!)

Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field

Minimum Experience:

7-9 years of experience in integrated media strategy (must have experience in healthcare)

Previous experience in an agency setting

How We Work Together

Location: Remote within the United States. This role requires 100% of work to be performed in a remote office environment.

Travel: This is a remote position with less than 10% travel requirements. Occasional planned travel may be required as part of the role.

Physical demands associated with this position Include: The ability to use keyboards and other computer equipment.

The expected pay range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000 USD per year for full time team members.
