Location: Remote, United States

Reports to: Senior Director, Capital Markets

Base salary: $160,000

Type: Full-time

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Manager to build and manage the operational infrastructure that keeps our Capital Markets function running efficiently as Homeward scales. You'll manage a lean team responsible for the day-to-day execution of debt facility operations, while owning the systems, processes, controls, and reporting that enable the team to operate with greater speed, accuracy, and consistency.

You'll be responsible for building and continuously improving the operating model for Capital Markets, identifying opportunities to eliminate manual work, strengthen controls, improve data flows, and automate recurring processes. You'll ensure the team has clear systems and tools to execute effectively, while stepping in to solve more complex issues as they arise.

What You'll Do

Lead and develop the Capital Markets Operations function. Set priorities, establish clear ownership, and ensure timely, accurate execution of day-to-day facility operations

Drive efficiency and automation. Reduce manual work, improve data flows, and make facility operations more scalable and reliable

Own day-to-day facility execution, including draw execution, borrowing base reporting, reconciliations, and other lender reporting

Monitor facility utilization and covenant compliance, flagging issues before they become breaches

Partner with the Senior Director of Capital Markets on operational design as new facilities, lenders, and loan products are added

What You'll Bring

6+ years in capital markets operations, warehouse lending, or debt facility management, ideally with mortgage or structured finance exposure

A track record of building from scratch and continuously improving the efficiency of systems

Working fluency with debt facility mechanics: draws, borrowing base math, and lender reporting requirements

Comfort with loan-level data. You can trace a discrepancy from a lender report back to an origination record

Ability to operate independently. This is a builder and doer role, not an oversight role

Nice to Have

Background in private equity-backed or venture-backed companies

Exposure to cash management in a capital-intensive business

Experience in real estate, mortgage, or fintech

Compensation

Base salary of $160,000

Annual performance bonus eligibility

Meaningful equity grant of stock options with real upside potential

Benefits

Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, with company contributions toward premiums

20 days of paid vacation, 5 sick days, 12 company holidays, and 2 floating holidays

Generous paid parental leave of up to 13 weeks

401(k) with employer contribution match

Remote-first work environment (our headquarters are in Austin, TX)

Collaborative, low-ego team that values intellectual curiosity and continuous improvement
