About Cro Metrics

At Cro Metrics, we’re on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.

We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, paid media, and full-funnel digital strategy—empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.

Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.

About the Role

As a Senior Growth Strategist with a Paid Media focus, you lead the paid acquisition strategy behind our most complex, multi-channel client programs — real ownership of budget, targeting, and creative testing across paid social and paid search. You connect what's working in paid to the rest of the account, bringing a working knowledge of CRO and lifecycle to build a single, coherent point of view on what will move revenue and other key metrics. You're a senior strategic partner to clients, influencing executive stakeholders through data storytelling, and a senior partner internally, coaching Growth Associates and Strategists on paid strategy and raising the team's bar. You'll work primarily in Paid, with real exposure to CRO, Lifecycle, Analytics, and Web Dev — and lead integrated, multi-service accounts anchored in paid-media depth.

What You'll Do

Own paid-media strategy (budget, targeting, and creative testing) across complex, multi-channel client programs, connecting paid performance to the rest of the account

Build testing and optimization systems for paid programs that scale learnings across an account or portfolio

Serve as senior strategic partner to clients, influencing executive stakeholders through data storytelling and trusted counsel on paid investment

Forecast business outcomes and model payback, LTV, and CAC to guide client paid-media investment and prioritization decisions

Audit paid media measurement rigor (attribution, incrementality, and reporting accuracy) and translate complex data into clear decisions for clients, spotting CRO opportunities along the way and partnering with CRO specialists to turn them into tested roadmap items

Partner closely with program managers, analysts, engineers, lifecycle, and creative to deliver integrated, multi-service programs

Identify and lead account growth and expansion opportunities, and support business development on complex or enterprise prospects

Use AI to accelerate paid media analysis, insight generation, and roadmap development, and actively raise the bar for AI-assisted analytics and workflows across your account

Coach and mentor Growth Associates and Strategists, raising the team's bar on paid strategy and AI-forward practice

What We're Looking For

5-8+ years of hands-on experience in paid media or performance marketing, with real ownership of budget, targeting, and creative testing at volume on at least one major platform (Meta, Google, TikTok)

Hands-on experience analyzing paid-media performance data to inform integrated strategy

Experience forecasting business impact (payback, LTV, or ROI modeling) to guide client decisions

Proven experience presenting to and influencing senior or executive stakeholders

Working knowledge of structured testing and CRO fundamentals, even if CRO wasn't your primary lane

Hands-on experience with major paid platforms (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads), plus familiarity with a testing platform (Optimizely, VWO, Dynamic Yield, Adobe Target)

Demonstrated day-to-day use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) for data analysis, research synthesis, or roadmap development, plus experience helping others adopt AI-assisted workflows

Experience coaching and mentoring junior strategists or analysts preferred

Client services / agency experience strongly preferred

AI is a hard requirement, not a preference. This role requires active, demonstrated use of AI tools in your daily workflow, and goes further. You'll be expected to build and manage brand-specific AI agents that the team can use at scale. You'll be asked to show concrete AI-integrated workflows and agent-building experience during the interview process. Candidates who cannot demonstrate practical AI tool use and agent creation will not advance.

What Motivates You

Lifelong learner with a growth mindset, energized by growing others' careers too

Passionate about using data to improve user experiences

Enjoy working cross-functionally in a highly collaborative environment

Energized by senior client relationships and influencing executive stakeholder groups

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $110,000–$130,000. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications, and may vary within this range. This role may also be eligible for benefits, which will be discussed during the interview process.
