Senior Front End Software Engineer

Role

This role is for a talented Front End Developer to join a mission-critical team supporting U.S. Special Operations Command programs at the Marine Corps Special Operations Command (MARSOC) on Camp Lejeune, NC. The individual in this role will play a key part in advancing the command’s ability to harness and operationalize data for smarter, faster decision-making.

As a subject matter expert in front-end development, the individual assigned to this role will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and other technical professionals to design, develop, and optimize user-facing interfaces that bring complex data to life. Your contributions will directly support efforts to modernize and enhance data-driven operations across the command.

Responsibilities

Front End Developers are responsible for creating next generation web-based and desktop applications designed to enhance user interface with tools and capabilities.

The Front End Developer will perform the following tasks:

Design, prototype, develop, and implement applications using Web programming technologies to include but not limited to: JavaScript, HTML, HTMLS, and CSS.

Work with Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Data Scientists, and Database Engineers to create, troubleshoot, and recommend appropriate user interface capabilities.

Work with customers to enhance user experience and implementation requirements.

Requirements

Seven years of experience with modern Web technology stack.

Four years of experience with web application development using JavaScript frameworks, HTML, C5S, and similar web programming technologies.

Experience with Restful APIs, relational databases, and cross browser compatibility troubleshooting techniques.

A Secret clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience and familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD)

Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility

Salary Range: $65,000 - $158,000
