Senior Financial Planning Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced FP&A professional to support enterprise‑level financial analysis, modeling, and strategic planning activities. This role partners closely with finance leadership, accounting, and technical teams to drive informed decision‑making, evaluate investments, and support the firm’s long‑term growth strategy. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer and will help develop and lead the financial planning and analysis function for a high-growth, industry-leading firm.
Responsibilities:
Assist with company valuation models and related risk assessment activities.
Collaborate with business leaders and cross‑functional teams to gather assumptions, challenge inputs, and ensure alignment with growth and strategic objectives.
Provide leadership for annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range planning cycles for the firm and key departments.
Develop, maintain, and enhance integrated financial models, including balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and capital expenditure and operating expense modeling.
Analyze, model, and monitor return on key investments and capital purchases, providing insights and recommendations.
Build and evaluate sensitive analysis scenarios to support strategic, financial, and operational decision‑making.
Create and monitor business performance metrics, including key performance indicator tracking, profitability analysis, and trend analysis.
Partner with the accounting team to support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes.

You bring to the team:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field required.
CPA license is strongly preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling, with a strong understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts, and forecasting methodologies.
Ability to influence through data and clearly communicate financial insights to non‑finance stakeholders.
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems and ERP platforms.
We are open to this role being located in Omaha, Lincoln, NE, Overland Park, KS or possible other locations.
