Senior Engineer
What is the role
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer offers extensive experience in infrastructure and network support, delivering reliable technical solutions and successful project outcomes. A collaborative professional who excels in maintaining high service standards, resolving complex issues, and ensuring SLA compliance.
The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Senior Engineer:
Provide remote support for servers, storage, network, and cloud infrastructure across multiple environments.
Administered and maintained Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, and cloud platforms to ensure performance, availability, and security.
Diagnose and resolved infrastructure issues through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and timely implementation of solutions.
Monitor system health, managed incidents and service requests, and consistently met SLA targets.
Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver infrastructure improvements, system upgrades, and technical solutions.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.
Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues and contributed to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Participate in on-call support rotations and ensure timely resolution of critical incidents.

Who we are looking for
Successful candidate must possess:
Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting enterprise server infrastructure preferably within an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment.
Strong expertise in Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Azure AD (Entra ID), Group Policy, Microsoft 365, NPS, and WSUS.
Proven experience with VMware, Hyper-V, SAN storage, Veeam backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Hands-on knowledge of data centre operations, including server deployments, hardware upgrades, migrations, and break-fix support.
Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex server, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure issues.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs.
Experience supporting Cisco and Fortinet environments, including firewall and VPN administration.
Proficient in PowerShell and Bash scripting for automation and operational efficiency.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to deliver reliable infrastructure support in fast-paced environments.
