Role: Senior Designer

About the role:

As Senior Designer, you'll lead creative delivery for the Americas region — from concept through to final production — on a fast-moving account that produces more than 250 deliverables a month. Working closely with the Account Director and Project Manager, and directly with client stakeholders, you'll bring rigorous craft, brand consistency, and clear creative thinking to every brief. You'll guide and mentor junior designers and direct production designers, maintaining quality at pace and at scale.

What you will be doing:

Lead concept and ideation across campaign and project briefs spanning corporate branding, social and digital assets, print collateral, editorial, presentations, and video storyboards

Design and produce a wide range of marketing materials — paid media, social assets, events, white papers, emails, digital banners, and more — from concept through to final file

Develop long-form editorial content including brochures, white papers (12+ pages), and reports (40+ pages), maintaining high typographic and layout standards throughout

Work within brand guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across all outputs, adapting creative effectively for a highly regulated industry environment

Partner closely with the Account Director and Project Manager to manage creative delivery from brief to final execution, meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment

Collaborate directly with client stakeholders — presenting work clearly, incorporating feedback constructively, and building trusted working relationships

Brief and review work from production and external agencies, maintaining quality to OLIVER and client standards

Oversee the preparation and specification of all finished files for correct output across print, digital, and web

Manage and delegate responsibilities within the design team, providing clear direction to Junior Designers and Production Designers

Mentor Junior Designers, supporting their creative development through regular, constructive feedback and hands-on guidance

Proactively monitor quality, accuracy, and consistency across all team output — keeping standards high at volume and pace

Manage project-level production budgets, including cost estimation, purchase orders, invoicing, and reconciliation; source and negotiate with freelancers and production partners as needed

What you need to be great in this role:

A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth across editorial, corporate branding, digital, and print

Expert-level proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop; strong working knowledge of PowerPoint

A thorough understanding of typography, photography, colour, and print production

Proven ability to design across both print and digital channels, including paid media, social, email, and banners

Experience working within a corporate brand environment, with a clear understanding of brand governance and consistency at scale

Familiarity with the creative constraints of a regulated industry; financial services experience is an advantage

Experience briefing and reviewing output from production or external agencies

A confident communicator and presenter, comfortable working directly with clients and senior stakeholders

Skilled at guiding, delegating to, and mentoring junior creative talent

Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and a reliable approach to delivery

Experience managing project-level production budgets, including cost estimation, supplier negotiation, and reconciliation

Advanced use of Gen AI tools relevant to design to enhance creative output and efficiency

Experience building AI-assisted workflows for yourself and your team

Comfortable training others on effective AI tool use and helping establish quality standards for AI-assisted work

An agentic approach to complex, multi-step creative challenges — able to break down briefs systematically and identify the most effective path to great work

A strong understanding of AI capabilities and limitations, with rigorous human judgment applied to all outputs

Salary Range

$114,750—$128,250 USD
