The Data Product Quality team’s mission is to define, build, monitor, and improve the quality of Komodo’s Data Products.

Our data quality analysts support, investigate, and solve tangible data quality issues. You will help triage and solve data anomalies set within the business and analytical context of the Healthcare Map.  You will design, maintain, and implement data quality assurance processes, including the daily management of our data issue resolution workflow. Typical tasks include, but are not limited to performing complex data analysis and assessing completeness/consistency/accuracy of data products, supporting the customer issue resolution process, and implementing operational workflows that support end-to-end data quality at Komodo.

Became an expert with our healthcare datasets, especially data sources for Komodo’s healthcare map

Effectively partnered with customer-facing teams to reconcile client requirements with the data quality capabilities of KH

Successfully identified data product bugs that surfaced in a customer’s specific use case and managed their resolution by Engineering

Incorporated a good understanding of the healthcare datasets at Komodo to implement and improve data quality monitoring for incoming source data

What you bring to Komodo Health:

Fluent with healthcare data, specifically claims, EHR, and lab data

Keenly analytical mindset and the ability to solve complex problems with limited supervision

Experience writing SQL queries and working with Relational Databases AND/OR Proficient in scripting with Python

Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively, in a fast-paced and demanding agile environment

Worked with testing data within a data warehouse, ODS or analytics DB

Comfortable with version control systems such as Git/GitHub

Expectations of AI Use in this role (required):

Ability to leverage AI tools (Gemini, Claude, Cursor, etc.) to enhance personal productivity, streamline workflows, content and visualization creation.

Nice to have:

Experience interacting with, managing, or building with AI agentic workflows

Open to remote in any US location or NYC/SF hybrid

The pay range for each job posting reflects a minimum and maximum range of annual base pay that we reasonably expect to pay for this position within the US. We carefully consider multiple business-related factors when determining compensation, including job-related skills, work experience, geographic work location, relevant training and certifications, business needs and market demands.

The starting annual base pay for this role is listed below. This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion and in accordance with a written agreement or plan. This role may also be eligible for equity awards. In addition, this role is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance; flexible time off and holidays; 401(k) with company match; disability insurance and life insurance; and leaves of absence in accordance with applicable state and local laws and regulations and company policy.

San Francisco Bay Area and New York City:

$153,000—$179,000 USD

All Other US Locations:

$133,000—$156,000 USD
