Senior Content Producer, HubSpot Academy
HubSpot Academy is on a mission to be the place people go to learn how to start and grow a business. We offer a variety of educational and inspirational content — from blog posts to lessons and full certification courses — that provides valuable business training to people all over the world. This educational content generates new customers for the business and delights our existing ones in service of achieving their business and career goals.
We're looking for a Content Producer who is passionate about getting world-class expertise out of the classroom and into the hands of the professionals who need it most. This role is ideal for a creative, detail-oriented content professional who thrives at the intersection of education, social media, and video — and who understands that a great piece of educational content is only as valuable as the audience it reaches.
As a Content Producer at HubSpot Academy, you will turn existing Academy courses, transcripts, webinars, and event recordings into multi-channel assets designed to reach new audiences on LinkedIn, YouTube, and beyond. You’ll work directly with our three Academy evangelists and wider professor team, building assets that scale their personal reach—carousels, short-form scripts, video clips, thumbnails, and post drafts—without requiring extra recording time from them. This role sits within the Engage pillar of HubSpot Academy and reports to the Senior Manager of HubSpot Academy Marketing.
In this role you'll get to:
Content Production — Anchor & Remix
Turn Academy course transcripts, lesson recordings, and webinars into social-ready posts and video clips.
Draft LinkedIn carousels, short-form scripts, and supporting assets for Academy evangelists to post on their personal accounts.
Produce LinkedIn carousels, short-form video scripts, asset packages, and draft post copy for Academy professors to review, finalise, and post in their own voice
Dig through long-form training to pull out the most valuable moments—finding clear hooks, fresh perspectives, and practical frameworks worth sharing.
Video Production & YouTube
Create and publish content to the HubSpot Academy YouTube channel.
Repurpose long-form recordings into YouTube Shorts and short-form clips optimised for social distribution.
Design and produce YouTube thumbnails that are on-brand and drive click-through.
Manage the YouTube publishing workflow including titles, descriptions, tags, and scheduling.
Podcast & Newsletter Support
Help produce the Crystal Clear podcast by writing show notes and summaries, cutting social clips, and building promotional assets.
Adapt course material and evangelist content into fresh sections for Academy newsletters.
Cross-team Collaboration
Partner directly with Academy evangelists to stay aligned on their content calendars and production goals.
Connect with Academy professors globally to spot strong anchor content and help expand their reach.
Work closely with the Academy Social Media Manager to ensure all assets match platform best practices and fit our broader social strategy.
Join content planning sessions to ensure production time goes toward our highest-impact projects.
You'll be successful in this role if you have:
Extensive experience in content production, social media content creation, or a closely related role — ideally at a media company, or with an influencer or creator.
Strong writing skills — you can take complex material and distill it into clear, compelling copy that performs on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
Demonstrable experience producing LinkedIn carousels, short-form video content, or similar multi-format social assets using Canva.
Practical video editing skills using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut — and a curiosity for AI-assisted editing tools like Runway.
Hands-on experience with YouTube publishing, including thumbnails, metadata optimisation, and Shorts. Familiarity with original programming formats for YouTube and social media is a plus.
Experience working with remote recording formats (e.g. Riverside) and collaborating with designers and copywriters to bring static content to life.
A sharp eye for what makes long-form content shareable — you can quickly spot the core insight in a 45-minute video and know how to clip it.
Strong project management instincts — you can manage multiple asset types, multiple stakeholders, and multiple deadlines without dropping things.
A genuine interest in marketing, sales, AI, or business education — you'll be working with this content every day.
The ability to work autonomously and manage ambiguity in a fast-moving team.
Nice to have:
Experience working with or producing content for personal brand profiles or individual creators, rather than corporate brand channels.
While a second language is not required, experience working with or producing content across multiple languages or for international teams (to support our global professor network) is a plus.
Familiarity with HubSpot products or the HubSpot Academy ecosystem
Understanding of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) or how to structure content for LLM visibility — we will train the right person on this
Experience using AI tools to accelerate content production workflows
