Senior Business Development Manager
Greenhouse is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team!
The Senior Business Development Manager will drive the execution of Greenhouse's partner strategy and own a portfolio of high-impact strategic partners across our ecosystem. This role sits within the Corporate Development & Strategy team and will turn strategic partnership priorities into signed deals, live integrations, and measurable revenue outcomes.
You'll lead how Greenhouse builds, structures, and grows strategic partnerships, working closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, and Legal to both launch new integrations and deepen existing relationships. This is a highly cross-functional, execution-focused role for someone who wants to identify and deliver new growth and meaningful impact through our ecosystem.
Who will love this job
A connector - you build strong, trust-based relationships with partners and internal stakeholders, and you enjoy being the primary point of contact who keeps everyone aligned and moving forward.
A strategist - you like translating big-picture partnership priorities into concrete programs, commercial structures, and clear business cases that drive revenue and ROI.
A builder - you thrive in environments without fully built playbooks, creating structure, process, and repeatable motion where it doesn't yet exist.
An operator - you are organized, detail-oriented, and have high follow-through, comfortably managing complex launches, competing priorities, and end-to-end execution.
What you’ll do
Drive the execution of Greenhouse's partner strategy, turning strategic partner decisions into successful, revenue-generating initiatives across our ecosystem.
Own a portfolio of strategic partners end-to-end, serving as the primary point of contact and owning revenue goals tied to those relationships.
Lead new partnership launches, from initial scoping through go-live, partnering closely with Product, CGS (Customer Growth & Success), and Marketing.
Collaborate with Product & Engineering on integration scope, roadmap alignment, and prioritization to ensure joint solutions create clear customer value.
Partner with CGSand Sales on co-sell motions and partner-sourced pipeline, ensuring the field is enabled to effectively sell with and through partners.
Work with Marketing on joint go-to-market and co-marketing programs that drive awareness, adoption, and expansion for strategic integrations.
Own partner performance and reporting, defining KPIs and leading the process to track partner health, goals, and ROI in collaboration with Sales and Finance.
Negotiate and manage commercial agreements, partnering with Legal on contract terns and overseeing renewals, amendments, and ongoing commercial structures.
Identify new partnership opportunities and ecosystem bets that can unlock incremental growth, and make data-driven recommendations on where to invest next.
Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require.
You should have
6 - 9 years of experience in business development, partnerships, strategic alliances, or a related function at a B2B or B2C SaaS company.
Proven experience managing partner relationships post-signature, including QBRs, performance tracking, and relationship troubleshooting - not just sourcing and closing deals.
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with demonstrated experience working closely with Product/Engineering on integration partnerships, Sales on co-sell or channel motions, and Marketing on GTM programs.
Commercial and analytical fluency, including building business cases, modeling partnership ROI, and negotiating commercial terms such as revenue share, referral fees, Marketing development funds, and minimum commitments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior stakeholders and translating partnership activity into clear strategic narratives.
A builder's mindset and high follow-through - you're comfortable operating without fully built playbooks, creating structure where it doesn't exist, and managing through complexity as a hands-on project owner.
A track record of achieving realized ARR or revenue goals through partnerships.
Experience in HR tech or recruiting software, a plus.
