Enterprise Account Manager
Greenhouse is looking for an Enterprise Account Manager to join our team!
Our Account Management team drives customer retention, growth and expansion opportunities, as well as continued product optimization and adoption. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will own the renewals and upselling of new products into our rapidly growing ecosystem of customers. You will ensure a premium experience for our customers by understanding their core business objectives and motivating change in their organization. In addition, you’ll partner with our Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Finance teams to streamline workflows and communication processes within Greenhouse.
Who will love this job:
A strategic hunter - you thrive in a dynamic environment, and clearly see the full picture of an account, always recommending the best solutions that drive value for both customers and Greenhouse revenue
A thoughtful mediator - you're consultative and receptive under pressure, and you can build and defend a pricing structure on the spot rather than just smoothing the conversation over
A collaborative teammate - you love working with others and rely on strong partnerships to achieve the best outcomes for our customers
A builder and problem solver - you’re not afraid to test, iterate, and chip in ideas when it comes to solutions. You leverage AI tools to create custom workflows and streamline tasks. You can roll with the punches and adapt, and are excited to be a part of the solution
What you’ll do:
Effectively manage a book of business consisting of our most strategic accounts
Build, present, and defend data-backed pricing structures directly with procurement and finance stakeholders, driving alignment across broader buyer groups to close deals
Develop strategic account plans that map out expansion and other upsell opportunities
Maintain an active pipeline of forecasted renewals and expansions to meet quota objectives
Partner with Customer Success Managers and leverage product expertise to solution for customer pain points
Position yourself as a strategic partner to key stakeholders and champions within named accounts
Diagnose and clearly mitigate churn risks, owning resolution strategies and advising sales leadership on ideal resolutions wherever appropriate
Be an active participant in building and improving internal operational processes
Travel occasionally to on-site client meetings, industry events and conferences, internal sales kick-offs, etc.
Additional projects and responsibilities as business needs require
You should have:
Several years of demonstrated experience in account expansion and renewals working with executive collaborators within Enterprise accounts (1,000+ employees)
A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
Excellent project management skills
The ability to construct, present, and defend complex pricing structures directly with procurement and finance, not just manage the relationships around them
Proven ability to solve complex problems through a consultative approach, effectively managing customer expectations while navigating challenges often outside of your direct control
Mastery in lifecycle revenue management, delivering high-accuracy forecasting for both renewals and expansion within a complex enterprise portfolio
Experience acting as a strategic advisor to senior leadership by synthesizing portfolio data into actionable insights regarding market themes, risk mitigation strategies, and growth opportunities
Experience with HR industry and SaaS, a plus
