What You’ll Do

Serve as a senior business analyst for Calypso back-office and post-trade initiatives

Lead requirements gathering and analysis for Calypso accounting and accounting-reporting capabilities

Work with finance, operations, product-control, and technology stakeholders to understand business needs and define appropriate solutions

Analyze accounting requirements, accounting events, posting rules, general ledger mappings, and financial-reporting processes

Document business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Assess existing Calypso configurations and workflows and identify gaps or opportunities for improvement

Support Calypso functionality across Collateral Management, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Treasury, and FX Derivatives

Analyze trade lifecycle events and their downstream accounting and reporting impacts

Collaborate with developers and Calypso configuration specialists throughout solution design and implementation

Define test scenarios and support system, integration, regression, and user-acceptance testing

Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate solutions with business and technical teams

Support data validation, reconciliations, accounting controls, and reporting accuracy

Contribute to implementation, upgrade, migration, and process-improvement initiatives

Communicate project status, dependencies, risks, and issues clearly to client stakeholders

What You Bring

Senior-level of relevant business analysis experience in capital markets, financial services, or a related environment

Senior-level experience working with Calypso back-office and post-trade functionality

Deep expertise in Calypso accounting and accounting reporting

Strong knowledge of financial accounting concepts and processes

Experience with accounting events, posting rules, general ledger integration, reconciliation, and financial reporting

Calypso experience across: Collateral Management, Fixed Income, Money Markets, Treasury, FX Derivatives

Strong understanding of trade lifecycles and post-trade processing

Experience gathering requirements and producing clear functional documentation

Experience working with business, finance, operations, development, testing, and production-support teams

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid client-facing environment

Availability to attend the New York client site approximately 60% of the time

English level

Compensation Transparency: The expected compensation range for this role is $75–90/hr USD, with eligibility for commission, bonus, or other incentive compensation where applicable. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, geographic location within the United States, and business needs.
