Senior Analyst, Pricing and Business Analytics
Hungryroot is seeking a highly-motivated, strategic and data-driven Senior Analyst, Pricing and Business Analytics to lead Pricing analytics and contribute to our core business performance reporting.
You will work closely with the Finance and Product teams to measure the impact of pricing initiatives on financial performance and retention. This is a high impact, high visibility role for someone with deep pricing experience from creating reporting structures to sharing insights with executive audiences. You will also have a hand in analyzing overall business performance and maintaining our high standard of KPI reporting.
This role sits within the Analytics & Finance team, which owns central analytics, strategic insights, and key performance metrics across the business. We’re a detail-oriented, analytical group that supports leadership with clear, data-driven guidance—combining historical trends and forward-looking analysis to drive decision-making. We thrive on solving complex problems and turning data into actionable insights.
Important: This is a hands-on role! At Hungryroot, we are all technical individual contributors in our respective fields and as such, this role requires a deep understanding of complex SQL queries and pricing models.
Responsibilities
Partner with the Product team to design and proactively propose new pricing experiments. Recommend next steps based on findings.
Synthesize and present pricing experiment findings and financial impact with the Product team and leadership.
Build in-depth reporting to measure pricing performance and quantify impact on business KPIs and financial results.
Identify core KPI trends and changes (pricing-related or otherwise), and run follow-up analyses to understand the drivers.
Maintain KPI metric datasets and build automations and AI tooling to enable efficient reporting and self-service insights.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in strategic and pricing analytics (developing pricing models, analyzing pricing A/B tests)
Experience analyzing A/B tests and familiar with experimentation best practices
Advanced SQL skills, with an ability to create new tables / schemas on an ad hoc basis
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate insights and information to our most senior executives
Experience using and building dashboards in Looker or similar BI tool
Hyper organized; self-driven motivation with a high degree of organization, efficiency, and attention to detail
Bachelor’s Degree

Expected Salary Range:
$110,000 - $125,000 USD
