The Senior Accountant, Reporting is accountable for preparing, maintaining, and enhancing external financial reporting, regulatory reporting, lender reporting, internal management reporting, and other strategic reporting to support informed decision-making and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Revenue and Reporting Accounting Manager, this role partners closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and other cross-functional teams to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational priorities.

On the day-to-day, you will:
Prepare and maintain external financial statements, regulatory filings, and lender and operational reports, applying technical accounting judgment and audit-ready documentation
Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deliverables across Accounting, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory Affairs by coordinating stakeholders, validating source data, and leading reporting execution
Partner with FP&A and operations leaders to analyze key reporting metrics, explain growth drivers, and translate financial results into clear, leadership-ready reporting narratives
Support month-end close, quarterly external financial reporting, the annual financial statement audit, Medicare/Medicaid audits, and other PACE-specific projects while developing deeper expertise in healthcare finance and regulatory reporting
Build scalable reporting infrastructure by improving automation, reporting efficiency, system integrations, internal controls, documentation, and repeatable reporting processes as requirements scale
Develop deep healthcare knowledge of the PACE business model, including Medicare, Medicaid, and Part D process flows, PACE regulatory constructs, and the business drivers behind reporting requirements
Manage competing priorities, driving execution across multiple functions and holding stakeholders accountable to critical reporting timelines and deliverables
Job requirements include:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in general, public accounting, or a combination of both; Big 4 experience preferred
Regulatory reporting experience preferred
Proficiency in applying technical accounting skills
Must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge of the ability to operationalize proper accounting treatment across multiple reporting areas
Demonstrated ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, build projects and reporting processes from scratch, develop business context quickly, identify key stakeholders and data sources, and deliver clear, well-supported reporting outcomes
Experience in the healthcare industry, including Medicare, Medicaid, or other regulated healthcare environments, strongly preferred

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
