Salesforce Business Analyst
MNTN is looking for a Salesforce Business Analyst to connect our Revenue teams’ needs with the systems that help them succeed. You’ll partner with RevOps product managers, revenue stakeholders, and the Salesforce build team to turn complex business problems into clear, actionable requirements. From discovery through delivery and adoption, you’ll keep the work grounded in the problem we’re solving and make sure what ships delivers.
What you’ll do
Partner with RevOps and stakeholders across sales, CS, and marketing ops to elicit, challenge, and document requirements
Translate business needs into clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and map current and future-state processes (opportunity management, handoffs, routing, account plans)
Own the intake queue as the single front door for incoming requests, triage and resolve daily-ops items, and backlog others for roadmap prioritization, keeping requesters updated on status
Own triage and intake hygiene, keeping queues clean, scoped, and legible
Own UAT, write and run test plans, validate against acceptance criteria, and coordinate release readiness with Technical Enablement
Track work through the delivery pipeline, sprint boards, sandbox promotion, and release timing, so what you've specified actually ships on schedule
Maintain documentation, data-dictionary entries, and process/SOP artifacts so the system stays legible
Do light declarative configuration where it helps (reports, fields, layouts)
What you’ll bring
3–5 years as a Business Analyst, ideally in a Salesforce and/or RevOps environment
Strong requirements elicitation, user-story writing, and process-mapping skills, you ask the second and third question, not just the first
Working knowledge of Salesforce, objects, records, reports, and how automation works conceptually (Salesforce Admin certification a plus)
Experience running UAT, writing documentation, and managing stakeholders across go-to-market teams
Experience running a request-intake / triage process and keeping a shared queue (e.g., a Jira project) clean and current
Some familiarity with Salesforce release mechanics, sandboxes, change sets or a CI/CD tool, and how a build moves from dev to production
Comfort in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment where priorities shift and clarity is your job to create
Nice to have
Familiarity with the GTM stack, LeanData, Qualified, Inflection, Nooks, and with BI/reporting tools like Tableau
RevOps process knowledge: segmentation, lifecycle, coverage, and forecasting
What success looks like
Translates complex or ambiguous business needs into clear process designs, requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Improves intake quality so approved work is fully scoped, prioritized, and ready for the delivery team to build.
Leads business testing and stakeholder signoff, helping ensure releases solve the intended problem and are ready for adoption.
Maintains clear process and system documentation while reducing requirement-related rework and back-and-forth for builders.
