Sales Development - Canada
About the role
As our founding Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Canada, at ElevenLabs you will build the outbound engine for one of our fastest-moving new markets, working closely with our Canadian Account Executives.
We don't just sell a product or custom-level solutions; we are partnering with enterprises to help them generate new experiences and monetization opportunities at scale with our breakthrough voice technology. In this role you will:
- Build the outbound motion for Canada from scratch — defining the target account list, the messaging that works in this market, and the AI-assisted workflows that power it.
- Run account-based outbound into a concentrated list of Canada's largest enterprises, multithreading across business units rather than working a high-volume lead list.
- Engage prospects through cold calling, email, and social outreach, using AI agents to handle enrichment, sequencing, and signal monitoring so your focus stays on the highest-value interactions.
- Generate pipeline from our in-market presence — Canadian tech events, hackathons, and community moments — turning the room into booked meetings.
- Work closely with the Account Executives and sales leadership to feed back what's landing, refine the playbook, and report on the KPIs that matter: conversion rates, lead quality, and outreach effectiveness.
Requirements
- Prior outbound B2B sales experience with a track record of securing new business meetings.
- Comfortable operating and iterating on AI-assisted workflows and automation tools (e.g. Clay, Apollo, Outreach, or similar) — you don't need to build from scratch, but you know how to run and tune a system.
- Comfortable being early. This is the first SDR seat in a market we're standing up from scratch — you'll be building the playbook, not inheriting one.
- Curiosity — asking insightful questions and developing solutions from a foundation of knowledge and insight.
- Self-motivated, thriving as part of a team while possessing the ability to stay driven and proactive independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Professional French is strongly preferred given the Quebec market.
Location
This role is remote-first and can be executed from anywhere in Canada, with the ability to operate in ET required. There is a strong preference for candidates based in Toronto, where the majority of our Canadian team sits and where we're opening an office.
