About the Team

Mixpanel's Renewals Manager team partners with our most strategic customers to help them turn product data into decisions that drive growth. The Renewals function sits at the heart of our revenue engine—ensuring customers continuously realize value from Mixpanel and that we retain and grow our recurring revenue base.

About the Role

The right candidate brings commercial acumen and customer empathy in equal measure. You'll own the full renewal cycle for an assigned book of business—from early risk identification through contract close—partnering closely with Customer Value Managers, Sales, and Finance to protect and expand Mixpanel's recurring revenue. You'll be the primary driver of on-time, on-value renewals in your territory.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end renewal process for an assigned territory, managing quote-to-close with accuracy and urgency.

Negotiate contract renewals using sound commercial judgment, building strategies that protect customer relationships while maximizing contract value.

Maintain a rolling 90–120-day forecast; analyze renewal data regularly to identify trends, surface risk, and prioritize intervention.

Engage decision-makers early to understand budget cycles, stakeholder maps, approval processes, and potential blockers.

Identify risk signals proactively and partner with Customer Success, Deal Desk, Legal, Finance, and Sales to navigate complex situations and protect retention.

Develop and present pricing and packaging proposals tailored to customer needs and growth stage.

Articulate Mixpanel's differentiated value and defend against competitive pressures during renewal negotiations.

Contribute to renewal process improvements and help build scalable playbooks for the team.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

A track record of quota achievement in a renewals, account management, or sales role in a B2B SaaS environment.

Experience negotiating contracts with commercial and procurement stakeholders, including multi-year or multi-product deals.

The ability to manage a high-volume book of business while maintaining forecast accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Comfort working with ARR data, churn signals, and renewal metrics to drive prioritization decisions.

Experience partnering cross-functionally with CS, Finance, Legal, and Sales Ops to close complex deals.

Bonus Points For

Experience in product analytics, data tooling, or developer-facing SaaS.

Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, or similar CRM and forecasting tools.

Background in value selling or outcome-based selling methodologies.

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
