Expanding into Luxembourg is a key part of Carta’s broader global expansion strategy. For Carta Lux Sarl we are looking to bring in a Senior Officer Registrar & Transfer Agency. Reporting to the Head of Registrar & Transfer Agency. We consider ourselves as a tech company, which means that we use our own software. You should be able to solve the problem of manual processes vs productised functions and this with the help of our R&D team.

Your responsibilities:

Working closely with the Head of TA.

Analyse and perform investor account opening as well as periodic AML-KYC review and ensure the accounts are compliant with local regulations and policies.

Actively participate to improve AML-KYC processes.

Review and clearing of the daily screening  hits.

Managing capital calls, distributions, payments and investor inquiries.

Maintaining comprehensive investor registers.

Supporting regulatory filings and contributing to ad hoc projects.

Staying up to date with local laws and regulations.

Escalate, when appropriate, any matters to the Head of TA.

The Team You’ll Work With

Partner with the Head of TA  in Luxembourg  and UK/EU TA/Compliance Team - as Carta continues to expand its market presence, it is crucial to have a dedicated staff to provide the right support to our clients and to the local Management team.

Driving Operational Efficiencies - you will play a vital role in driving operational excellence within the Lux office. You will also be working on getting processes productised, this in close collaboration with the R&D team. This will include coordination and liaison with both internal and external parties.

Facilitating Communication and Collaboration - you will act as a liaison between the clients/investors and various stakeholders, both internal and external, fostering transparent and timely communication.

About You

Minimum of 3 years of Client Services experience in a Transfer Agent environment with a strong understanding of the Alternative market.

Strong technical expertise in AML-KYC.

Demonstrate effective control and supervision work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Customer Service experience.

English spoken and written. Any other language is a plus.

Team player.
