Are you someone who enjoys working with your hands, solving problems or figuring out why something isn’t working? Tactacam is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented team member to

inspect, test and refurbish our outdoor camera products. Previous camera or electronics repair experience is helpful, but it is not required. We provide training on our products, systems and testing processes. Experience in manufacturing, assembly, automotive work, agriculture, maintenance, warehousing or other hands-on environments can translate well to this position.

This is a 1 year contracted role.

Responsibilities:

Inspect and test cameras and accessories returned by customers.

Follow step-by-step processes to identify product issues.

Troubleshoot problems and determine what may have caused the product to fail.

Repair or refurbish eligible products using established tools and procedures.

Complete final quality checks to make sure refurbished products meet Tactacam standards.

Enter testing results, product information and completed work into company systems.Track serial numbers, IMEIs and product movement accurately.

Keep returned products, parts, tools and work areas organized.

Identify repeated product issues and share findings with department leadership.

Help Product and Customer Support teams understand what we are finding in returned equipment.

Follow safety, quality, inventory and product-handling procedures.

Contribute ideas that could make the repair and return process faster or more consistent.

Assist with inventory counts and other department projects when needed

Requirements:

Dependable and punctual, with reliable transportation to our Decorah facility.

Comfortable working with your hands and learning how products function.

Able to follow written instructions and repeat processes consistently.

Patient and persistent when identifying the cause of a problem.

Detail-oriented and committed to completing accurate work.

Comfortable using a computer and learning new software.

Able to organize work and manage time effectively.

Comfortable working independently after training.

Willing to ask questions and work with others when help is needed.

Able to maintain quality while completing similar tasks throughout the day

Preferred Experience:

Manufacturing or production

Product assembly

Automotive, small-engine or equipment maintenance

Agriculture or farm-equipment troubleshooting

Warehouse or inventory work

Quality inspection

Electronics, cameras or connected devices
