Project Coordinator, IT & Construction position with New Era Technology is a contract role, expected to last 6 months possibly longer.

The Project Coordinator, IT & Construction is responsible for supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing schedules, and communicating with team members and stakeholders to facilitate project success as defined by the PMO.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
Planning and Scheduling:
Plan and schedule project work orders based on priorities and resource availability.
Coordinate with vendors, onsite contacts, and other trades as necessary to ensure project timelines are met.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources and resolve conflicts.
Review work orders and ensure all necessary information is available.
Progress Tracking and Documentation:
Track and close-out work order tickets promptly upon completion, ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.
Submit completed work orders for billing promptly, ensuring all billing requirements are met.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to work orders.
Monitoring and Communication:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of work orders, maintaining accountability for meeting response-time targets and delivering quality service.
Communicate proactively with customers, provide regular status updates, requested deliverables, and confirm successful completion for each work order.
Adherence to SLAs and Performance Metrics:
Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and accountability to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), meeting established benchmarks for response times, quality, and project deliverables.
Quality and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with quality standards and operational procedures.
Provide guidance and support to team members involved in executing work orders.
Ensure detailed checklists for deliverables are followed. Validate each task is completed thoroughly and meets quality standards.
Conduct thorough reviews of submitted work. Verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to guidelines.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED.
Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite) and basic familiarity with project management tools.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associate’s degree preferred.
PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Full Time, 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed
TRAVEL: Travel expectation is up to 5%.
Below is the pay range of this position for considered candidates based on qualifications and experience.

$24—$27.24 USD
