What you’ll do:
As a Product Manager, your primary mission is to go from zero to one for the deployment of Rhombus solutions across products, services, and other areas in support of client missions. This is a fast-paced, roll up your sleeves, job that requires hands-on technical product experience, mental toughness, and the mindset to constantly drive. Through deep cross-functional collaboration with our technical, client-facing, and executive teams, Product Managers drive delivery to the field and do whatever’s needed to get solutions into clients' hands. We are obsessed about engagement and keeping our finger on the pulse of how clients interact with our products. This helps us improve the user experience and evolve their operational tactics and techniques. We rapidly action client feedback and work with technical and client-facing teams to quickly address potential issues.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining close relationships with senior executives and leaders of our multiple clients, working with these stakeholders to understand their needs, and then fully executing these partnerships from solutioning to implementation. You can execute, without guidance or supervision externally, while also coordinating internally across data, deployment, engineering, QA, and UI/UX teams. You must thrive in ambiguous environments and be comfortable with manipulating data, fluent in Python, writing product requirements, and troubleshooting application deployments.
This role requires U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residence. Active Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance (Secret or TS/SCI) is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Relentlessly drive and facilitate cross-functional communication, collaboration, and execution (i.e., whatever it takes) to deliver our solutions to clients.
Identify and action opportunities to improve documentation, process, and program execution across client sites and functions.
Accelerate and scale operational solutions that help us. Always keep an ear to the ground, and engage with our clients.
Constantly deliver value to our clients while maintaining a high bar for quality, accessibility, technical rigor, and product experience.
Anticipate cross-functional operational challenges and proactively solve independently.
Build our product operations practice at Rhombus in partnership with executives and teammates across every function and level. You are just as good externally as you are internally, working across internal technical teams and senior leadership.
Qualifications
A master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., software development, national security, etc.) or work experience is preferred.
At minimum 5 years’ experience in a fast-moving technology company (start-up experience is highly desired), defense contracting, or operational military experience is required.
Experience with enterprise or government software development, delivery, and/or support is desired.
Fluency in Python and hands on experience with SDLC in a fast-paced environment.
Domain expertise in Resourcing and PPBE is highly desired.
