You'll own the CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and security posture behind Mews' Housekeeping and Staff Management (HMS) platform, one of the few genuinely multi-cloud estates at Mews, spanning AWS, GCP, and a growing Azure footprint. Hotels around the world depend on this platform running reliably, and right now the team is converging legacy Mews housekeeping customers onto HMS, which means the infrastructure underneath needs to scale cleanly while staying secure. It's a rare chance to work hands-on across three cloud providers at once, with real say in how a multi-cloud platform gets built and modernized.

You'll work closely with the HMS Quality and HMS Staffing engineering teams, taking ownership of the infrastructure that lets them ship quickly and safely, while steadily modernizing legacy setups (autoscaling, containerization, less manual operation) as the platform absorbs significant customer growth.

What you would do

Own and evolve infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer) across a multi-cloud estate spanning AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions (and Octopus Deploy on the Azure side) supporting the HMS Quality and HMS Staffing engineering teams.

Strengthen the security posture of the platform: encryption at rest, patching cadence, remediation of cloud security findings, and disaster recovery readiness.

Modernize legacy infrastructure by introducing autoscaling for worker fleets, containerizing where it makes sense, and cutting manual operations.

Build AI-assisted automation into CI/CD and observability tooling (for example, automated triage of pipeline failures or anomaly detection across Datadog and Sentry data), treating AI as a core part of the platform rather than a side experiment.

AI Fluency Level 4: this role goes beyond using AI tools well in your own workflow. You'll be expected to design and ship AI-powered components as part of the platform itself, whether that's intelligent pipeline triage, automated anomaly detection, or other AI-driven tooling for HMS infrastructure. You understand the underlying models and infrastructure well enough to make real engineering decisions about them.

What you would bring

Solid experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar) and infrastructure as code with Terraform.

A solid grounding in cloud platforms, with AWS as the primary focus; exposure to GCP or Azure is a genuine plus given the multi-cloud setup here.

Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS), plus configuration management and image building (Ansible, Packer).

A security-first mindset: hardening infrastructure, managing secrets, and remediating cloud findings.

AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent hands-on experience building AI-powered systems, with the judgment to know where AI genuinely belongs in infrastructure and tooling.

Nice to have

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python, and a solid handle on Git.

Comfort working alongside a polyglot estate (PHP/Laravel, Node.js/TypeScript, .NET); you won't need to write product code, but you'll support the people who do.

Familiarity with observability tooling such as Datadog, Sentry, or CloudWatch.
