Platform Engineer - AI Modernisation
20+ years of technology experience, currently a Technology Leader / Cloud Architect at Wells Fargo, working as an Individual Contributor within Wealth & Investment Management. Strong background across .NET, distributed systems, cloud-native architecture and platform modernization.
Relevant legacy modernization experience: spent ~2.5 years modernizing a legacy CRM platform toward Salesforce, building microservices to synchronize legacy/new systems and using Kafka for real-time data integration. Worked across scalability, availability and other NFRs using circuit breakers, retry mechanisms and resilient architecture patterns.
Strong C#/.NET and distributed systems expertise, including .NET Core, microservices, Kafka/event-driven architecture, Docker/Kubernetes, DDD/CQRS and high-throughput systems. His resume also demonstrates hands-on development of .NET Core microservices during previous modernization work.
Good production engineering/observability mindset – discussed using Splunk dashboards to monitor synchronization success/failures and Grafana/distributed tracing to troubleshoot issues across multiple services. Resume also shows CI/CD, GitHub Actions/Jenkins, automated testing and blue-green/canary deployment exposure.
AI-assisted development: regularly uses GitHub Copilot for code refactoring and unit-test generation, including recent security-remediation work. He also has broader GenAI/Agentic AI, RAG and MCP knowledge and is pursuing further AI/ML education. Agentic coding depth beyond Copilot should be validated by Brian.
Cloud: strongest practical experience is with Azure. Has conceptual/technology knowledge of AWS and GCP but confirmed no direct project experience on AWS/GCP. This is the main technical gap relative to HWA's AWS/Aurora target environment.
Motivation: after ~5 years at Wells Fargo, looking for a more challenging senior IC opportunity with greater technical ownership and decision-making authority. Interested in HWA because of the combination of platform modernization, AI-first engineering and direct ownership reporting to the CPTO.
Compensation & availability: Current CTC ₹66L; expects approximately ₹75L fixed CTC. 60-day notice period, but willing to explore negotiating an earlier release. Recommendation: Progress to Brian/CPTO, with focus on validating agentic coding maturity and ability to transition into the AWS target environment.
