The Offensive Security team is the central hub for Offensive Security operations and for understanding the current state of “what’s possible” and “how likely” against Robinhood people, processes, and systems.

As an Offensive Security Intern, you will work to hack all the things at Robinhood, and meaningfully contribute to the maturity of a world-class Offensive Security program.

This role is based in our Bellevue or Menlo Park office, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Hack AI services, models, and pipelines

Target cloud, Kubernetes, and macOS systems

Find and exploit bugs in smart contracts

Build infrastructure and tooling

What you bring

Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028.

Coursework in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Security / Cybersecurity

Passion for CTFs, research, and hacking challenges

Collaboration to drive change within, and beyond the Security organization

Basic technical experience with pentesting and/or application security

Exposure to modern tech stacks: Linux, macOS, Go, Python

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected hourly range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
