About the role:
As a Member of Technical Staff, Finance Data, you’ll lead the design of the Financial Data Platform that Finance, Accounting, and Revenue Operations rely on to close the books, report revenue, and forecast. You’ll build auditable pipelines on Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake that turn raw usage into revenue, and set the bar for data accuracy and governance where correctness isn’t optional. Work with FP&A, Accounting, and RevOps to turn reporting requirements, close-cycle timelines, and forecasting needs into architecture
Partner with Security, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit to meet SOX and SOC 2 requirements, backed by monitoring, alerting, and incident response
Set the technical roadmap, make build-vs-buy calls on ERP, billing, and revenue tools, and mentor engineers as the team grows
What you need:
8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a closely related field
Owned production data pipelines end-to-end on AWS, GCP, or Azure
Production experience with Kafka, ClickHouse, Tinybird, and Snowflake
