Marketing Analyst
Job Description:
The Marketing Analyst will drive insights and recommendations on marketing performance across digital and customer lifecycle channels, helping the team understand what's working, why, and what to do next. This role sits at the intersection of marketing and analytics, translating campaign data into actionable insights that improve acquisition, retention, and cross-sell performance, and uses AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis and improve campaign effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Campaign Performance & Insights
Analyze performance across digital channels (paid media, email, website) and direct mail campaigns
Help establish performance targets and benchmarks (e.g., conversion rates, engagement, lead-to-enrollment metrics)
Evaluate lead generation performance across channels, including volume, quality, and funnel conversion
Identify key drivers of conversion, CPA, and overall campaign effectiveness
Translate findings into actionable recommendations for marketing teams
Customer Lifecycle & Retention
Analyze lifecycle campaigns, including onboarding, retention, re-engagement, and cross-sell
Evaluate customer segments and behavior to identify growth opportunities
Recommend audience targeting, messaging, and timing improvements to increase engagement and repeat conversion
Testing & Optimization
Support A/B testing across channels (creative, offers, segmentation, cadence)
Analyze test results and communicate clear implications
Channel & Budget Support
Monitor performance across owned channels, including website, email, and sales channels
Provide insight into channel performance to inform budget allocation
Identify opportunities to scale high-performing campaigns or improve efficiency
Support forecasting and performance planning
Measurement & Attribution (Applied)
Use existing tracking and attribution frameworks to interpret campaign performance
Ensure marketing results are measured consistently and accurately
Identify gaps or inconsistencies in reporting and partner with analytics/data teams to resolve
Qualifications:
3–4 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital marketing, or performance marketing
Strong experience analyzing digital marketing campaigns (paid media, web, email/CRM)
Experience with analytics and reporting tools such as GA4 or Adobe Analytics, Excel/Google Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Familiarity with AI-enabled tools to support efficient analysis and reporting
Ability to translate data into clear business insights and recommendations
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with customer lifecycle marketing (retention, cross-sell, or CRM campaigns)
Exposure to direct mail campaign analysis
Familiarity with CRM or marketing automation platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
Success Measures (First 6–12 Months)
Establishes standards for marketing tagging and analytics across channels and programs
Drives measurable improvements in campaign performance (conversion, CPA, engagement)
Contributes to improved retention and cross-sell outcomes
Uses AI tools to increase speed, depth, and clarity of insights

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount WorldStrides is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
Maryland Salary Range
$85,000—$95,000 USD
