Manager, SMB Sales
Figma is looking for a Manager, SMB Sales to join a team that spans creative, engineering, marketing, and business functions. You aren't the typical sales leader, and we aren't the typical design software company. With this role, you'll join a sales org at an early, high-growth stage, with real opportunity to shape process and strategy from the ground up. You'll consult with our existing customer base and potential customers in driving meaningful relationships that add value to the customer experience and revenue to our bottom line.
Our Sales org is growing and moving fast. Our next team member will be comfortable embracing change, work well as part of a team, and enjoy working with our growing footprint of Fortune 1000 customers. You won't be alone! Figma has an incredible team and you'll work closely with other groups including Support, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Community. As our Manager, SMB Sales, you will develop a team of Account Executives responsible for continuing the growth of our product suite.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Lead a team of Account Executives to foster an environment of success
Enable the success of the team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets through a high velocity inbound and outbound sales motion
Participate in customer and prospect meetings alongside your team to support deal progression and coach in real time
Help shape and further develop sales processes and initiatives
Interview, hire and train new team members as we scale the business and company
Manage and analyze the performance of your team including accurate forecasting, pipeline generation, and activity metrics
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
5+ years of SaaS sales experience
1+ year of velocity sales account executive management experience
Experience leading, building, and growing successful, collaborative, and hard-working sales teams
Consistent history of leading over-performing sales teams, with a track record of developing strong customer relationships and an emphasis on satisfaction
Track record of navigating change effectively in a growing organization
Understanding of our technical and competitive landscape
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Additional years of management experience within a SaaS company
Experience using or working with Figma, or other UX/UI experience
Ability to thrive in a constantly changing and evolving environment
Experience with Command of the Message or MEDDIC sales methodology
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with the points outlined in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
