Manager, Field Marketing Lead
The Role
We are looking for a Manager, Field Marketing to join our Field Marketing & Advocacy team. This role owns how Addepar shows up at events across the globe — from national industry conferences and trade shows to our annual user conference, executive summits, and regional community programs. You will support the strategy, lead the team, and ensure every program Addepar runs delivers measurable brand and business impact.
You will manage a team of three: two Field Marketing Managers focused on industry events and regional activations, and a Strategic Events Program Manager who owns our client event programs. Your job is to ensure the team is aligned, the portfolio is coherent, and that every event has a clear strategic purpose and is executed at the highest level.
You will operate at the intersection of business strategy, content, and event experience. You will partner closely with GTM, Product Marketing, R&D and executive leadership to ensure events drive awareness, deepen client relationships, accelerate pipeline, and reinforce Addepar’s position as a market leader.
Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base salary for roles in Colorado, California, and New York.
The current range for this role is $106,000 - $165,000 (base salary) + bonus + equity + benefits.
Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additionally, these ranges reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without requiring current or future visa sponsorship (for example, employment-based visas such as H-1B, F-1/OPT, or similar), and must be authorized to begin work in the U.S. on their first day of employment.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three field marketers — setting clear goals, maintaining high standards, and creating an environment where the team does their best work
Help establish & reinforce roles, responsibilities, and success metrics for each team member, ensuring accountability against event targets, deadlines, and quality standards
Global Events Strategy + Annual Conference Management
Manage Addepar’s global events portfolio — providing your expert opinion on which events and programs to invest in, how to allocate team and budget resources, and how the full calendar connects to GTM priorities and business outcomes
Align the events calendar to territory priorities, pipeline goals, product launches, and campaigns
Own the end-to-end execution of our annual user conference, AddeConf, including agenda setting, content creation, event design, logistical oversight and pre- and post-event activation
Continuously evaluate the events portfolio — cutting what’s underperforming, doubling down on what works, and identifying new opportunities as the business grows globally
Cross-functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management
Serve as the point of contact across the organization for all things events
Drive alignment across internal stakeholders before, during, and after each program: ensuring Sales knows their role, Product Marketing’s messaging is reflected, and AM teams are briefed on their accounts
Performance Measurement & Reporting
Own the events analytics function — building and maintaining a performance dashboard that tracks KPIs across all programs: leads generated, pipeline influenced, meetings held, cost per lead, NPS, and ROI
Drive a culture of data-informed decision-making within the team, using post-event insights to continually improve strategy and execution
Budget & Operations
Manage the full Field Marketing events budget — including allocation across programs, spend tracking, and accountability for ROI
Ensure the team maintains operational excellence across procurement, vendor contracts, invoicing, compliance submissions, and lead capture processes
Travel to key events domestically and occasionally internationally to support the team and maintain visibility with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
Who You Are
6+ years in field marketing, event marketing, or a closely related B2B marketing discipline — with 2+ years managing a team
Proven experience owning a broad events portfolio: from large-scale flagship conferences to executive programs and regional activations
Demonstrated ability to influence and align senior stakeholders across complex, cross-functional organizations
Proven track record of building & managing event budgets and reporting performance against pipeline and ROI metrics
Background in fintech, wealth management, financial services, or enterprise SaaS strongly preferred
Knowledge of SFDC, Marketo and On24 preferred
